SCORE® is America’s premier source of free and confidential small business advice and counsel. It has provided free resources to small businesses for over 40 years. Now the two Phoenix chapters of SCORE® are joining forces to better serve Arizona’s growing small business community.
To kick-off the new era for SCORE®, Succeed Corporation®, an eCommerce technology developer based in Mesa, is investing $5,000 to help spread the word to the small business community about the value SCORE® can have on their business.

In return for his current investment and past support, SCORE® has named Omar Sayed of Succeed as the founding member of their new Honorary Advisory Board, which will consist of business leaders who are looking to support the small business community.
On October 1st the two local chapters of SCORE® will consolidate and the new chapter will be known as the Greater Phoenix Chapter of SCORE®. Chet Ross, former corporate CEO and retired US Navy Commander, serves as the current Chair of the Phoenix Chapter of SCORE®, and will assume the Chairmanship of the Greater Phoenix Chapter. On the same date he will also assume the office of SCORE® District Director for the entire state of Arizona.
According to Chet, “This merger of the chapters is an important strategic move to strengthen the presence of SCORE® in Arizona and widen the base of resources we offer. The investment in SCORE® by Succeed, as well Omar donating our website and now his membership on our new Honorary Advisory Board, will help to expand our positive impact with small businesses in Arizona.”
The new Greater Phoenix Chapter of SCORE® will have almost 100 counselors -- each of whom are real-world professionals with time-tested knowledge, donating thousands of hours to help small businesses succeed. Among the local counselors are experts in virtually every subject matter for small business – including accounting, law, finance, marketing, management and business plan preparation.
Any local entrepreneur or small business owner may set up free time to speak with a SCORE® counselor about their idea or business. According to small business owners who use SCORE®, it’s easy and valuable.
